Projection Representation

Technical Drawings have to be represented in 1st Angle Method or 3rd Angle Method,
This can be done and shown in the following manner as shown in the Image.

It is basically a ‘Solid Truncated Cone’ used as a standard norm for representation of Method of Projection or as a ‘Symbol of Projection’ both by the British and ISO standards.

Observe the standard proportion Norms used to represent it : The ‘D’ stands for the outer Diameter or the Base Diameter of the Cone. The length of the truncated cone is same as the ‘D’.
